SHUTTLE SERVICE
State will provide free shuttle service to-and-from the hotels listed and the America’s Center. The shuttles will run during show days:
Sunday 7:30am - 6:30pm
Monday 7:30am - 5:00pm
State will provide free shuttle service to-and-from the hotels to the America’s Center for the State Beauty Supply party – Sunday 7:00pm-11:30pm.
State will provide free shuttle service to-and-from the hotels listed to Laclede Landing. The shuttles will run:
Saturday 7:00pm - midnight
Sunday 6:30pm - 1:30am
ENTERTAINMENT
State Beauty Supply will be hosting a party at the America’s Center Ballroom 7:30pm-11:00pm. Free admission pass with purchase of a Discover Show ticket.
Show attendees have several entertainment choices. Be sure to visit the internet websites for more information on planning your evenings.
Casino Entertainment
St. Louis has 2 great casinos-President’s Casino on the Admiral offers exciting entertainment right at the foot of Laclede Landing on the river with continuous boarding and open during the weekend. CON-ED HOURS
Con-Ed Hours will be available for approved States. See your Sales Consultant or local store for details.
Discover Show Runway Competition:
Any licensed professional stylist or enrolled cosmetology student. Manufacturer platform artist or stylists working the show are ineligible to register or participate in competition.
Competition will be divided – one competition for stylists and one competition for students – with 2 different categories to enter.
Special Occasions - representing hair fashion which can include weddings, proms, birthdays, New Year, etc. to include color, perm, hair extensions, etc.
Avant-Garde represents a pushing of the boundaries of what is acceptable as the norm or status quo which can include color, perms, hair extensions, etc.
Entry form and more information will be in the Discover Show 2010 program. Pick one up from you local State Beauty Supply store.
Enter to Win:
Reserve a room within the official State Beauty Supply hotel block and receive an entry into the drawing for $2,000 cash. Rules: Make hotel reservation through the St. Louis Housing Bureau by phone 1-888-882-5196 or internet (statebeauty.com will have a weblink). Reservation must be complete with name, address, phone number and held by credit card. Blocks of rooms under one name are not eligible and manufacturers groups are not eligible.
Special Events:
Once again State Beauty Supply will be offering special events within the Discover Show 2010 programming. Presented by CND, American Crew and Sorme/Refinee, and Sexy Hair - the classes will specialize in nails, men’s hair, cosmetics and business development. Classes will have limited seating. Ask your DSC or State Store for more details or pick up a program from the State Beauty Supply store.
